Refund and Cancellation Policy (updated on March 8, 2024)

Overview

At Hackerinthehouse Certifications (HITH Certs), we strive to provide high-quality certification programs. However, if you are unsatisfied with our services for any reason, we offer refunds under certain circumstances outlined in this policy.

Exam Registration Refunds

If you need to cancel your exam registration before attempting the exam, refund requests will be processed as follows:

  • Cancellation 15 or more days before the exam date: Full refund
  • Cancellation 7-14 days before exam date: 50% refund 
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the exam date: No refund

To cancel, submit a refund request through your HITH Certs account before the exam date. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.

Exam Retake Fees

If you do not pass an exam on the first attempt, you may register to retake the exam at a discounted retake fee. However, retake fees are non-refundable once registration is completed.

Certification Package Refunds

For comprehensive certification packages/bundles purchased directly from HITH Certs, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not attempted any included exams or activated training courses.

Refund Process

All eligible refund requests must be submitted through your HITH Certs account within the stated timeframes. Our team will review and process refund requests within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.

Please note, that any violation of our Terms of Service, misconduct policies, or failure to meet program requirements may result in cancellation of certifications without refund.

Cancellations and refunds do not apply to complimentary or discounted exams/programs. This policy may be updated periodically at our discretion.
